Out and about around Forfar
Forfar is a traditional market town, located within the county of Angus and is the base for Angus Council headquarters. With a population of around 14,000 the town is a busy place with much to see and do in the surrounding areas. Agriculture and tourism are the town’s main industries with Glamis Castle, ancestral home of the Queen Mother, only five miles away.
A farmers market is held every month and is very popular with the locals and visitors. Being close to the main arterial A90 Forfar is easily accessible from all directions.
